WHAT TO EXPECT

Join Mazak Corporation at the biggest manufacturing trade show in North America, the 2018 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). This year, Mazak will occupy its traditional anchor position in the South Hall as well as an all-new booth in the West Hall, where we will be demonstrating advanced HYBRID technologies, including additive manufacturing.

Our metalcutting booth will feature many of our most exciting machine tool innovations, including automation solutions like the MPP System and PALLETECH, as well as the latest generation of outstanding Multi-Tasking and 5-axis machines. You’ll also experience the unique benefits of our Mazak iSMART Factory™ concept, which encompasses complete digital factory integration together with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, automation and advanced manufacturing practices. In the West Hall booth, visitors can see Mazak’s HYBRID Multi-Tasking machines and their state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, such as multi-laser metal deposition, wire arc additive manufacturing and friction stir welding.

Mazak will also host a number of presentations throughout the week. Topics will include the role of manufacturing connectivity in the modern production environment, how additive manufacturing and HYBRID Multi-Tasking are transforming multiple industries, and how to balance performance and cost-effectiveness when selecting a new machine tool for a given application.
